Au départ de Nuuk, la capitale, l’équipage va caboter plus de 1 000 milles pendant deux mois vers le nord, de village en village. « Nous avons pris possession de notre embarcation à Isafjordur en Islande. Nous nous sommes décidés en quelques instants ; ensuite, pendant un long week-end, nous avons commencé à préparer le bateau. Nous avons notamment consolidé les coques en y ajoutant des semelles car les fonds seront extrêmement sollicités chaque jour lors des accostages. Depuis, le bateau a navigué vers Nuuk seul … en kit et en container. La particularité de cette expédition est que nous naviguerons sur un catamaran de sport de 5,50 m seulement. Ce petit multicoque nous offre l’agilité et le contact avec les éléments que nous recherchons. The the Over Hand Knot is one of if not the simples of knots to tie, chances are you already know how to tie it you just don't know what it is called. It is a stopper knot that can be used to stop sheet and halyards from running through cleats and pulleys.
