We're Nick and Terysa and we’ve become completely obsessed with the idea of sailing around the world and sharing our experiences and information through our sailing lifestyle videos with others. We met travelling around India, and quickly agreed that rather than “settling down” and doing what most normal people do, we wanted to travel and have adventures! We moved onto our 38 foot monohull in 2014, sailed across the Atlantic twice, cruised the Caribbean, Bahamas and Europe, before buying a brand new 45 ft catamaran! We hope you enjoy what we do. The salon features large wraparound windows for excellent visibility and natural light, a lower helm with full instrumentation, and an inviting seating area that opens directly to the aft deck. A few easy steps lead up to the generous flybridge, offering excellent sightlines and plenty of seating for entertaining or enjoying the view underway. The master stateroom forward features an island berth and private head with shower, while the guest cabin offers twin berths and its own access to a second head. The dinette converts to a berth also. Powered by dependable twin diesel engines, the Symbol 41 delivers efficient cruising speeds and excellent handling. Join Us for Epic Spinnaker Sailing on a Catamaran! #shorts | Harbors Unknown It's so hard to put into words what a downwind wing on wing spinnaker sail on a catamaran feels like, especially on the #Seawind1600 ! The beauty of the huge colorful sail, sound of wind filling the light cloth, sunlight shimmering on the fabric, gurgling sound of the bow cutting through the water. It's such a special experience. Hopefully this #shorts video gives you an idea of what it's like! Watch the full video for an even better experience: https://youtu.be/MI_Q8sJ_rMg If you're new here, Harbors Unknown is the story of two dreamers, Kristin and Fabio Potenti, and our French Bulldog dog Yoda. We sold our home at the beginning of the pandemic (May 27th, 2020) and moved aboard our Seawind 1600 #catamaran, Wanderlust, in September. We plan to sail her to Harbors Unknown, and explore the world’s vast cultures through food, a common thread amongst people everywhere. Connecting with people and places through the local cuisine, and showing how those dishes can be cooked on a boat with limited space and resources. We share our adventures as a sailing couple living on a boat and how it’s possible to live an #alternativelifestyle that provides freedom and fulfillment. We have just set off on our voyage sailing around the world, after exploring the beautiful waters of South Florida, the Florida Keys, and the Bahamas. Subscribe now to join our #sailingadventure.
