OMG have we changed since 2017 OMG have we remained the same 🤩 no way could we have known back than how our life would change ⛵️ to how many spectacular places we would sail 🗺️ how many amazing humans we would meet 🥰 how confident in ourselves we would become but it’s still you and me 💙 stronger together, respecting humans and nature, curious to discover everything new while appreciating the old, never backing down from a challenge. I can’t wait to see what the next 7 years will bring. I’m sure it will all change again and we will still be the same ⛵️ #sailing #sailinglife #liveaboard #liveaboardlife
Chinese sailor Jingkun Xu's wore his heart on his sleeve as he raced around the world. So did many of the other sailors and while everyone's story was fascinating, the fact that Jingkun has just one arm speaks no English and ran his entire campaign with barely any shore crew made his story all the more fascinating. But his journey was more than that - when he talked to the camera he did so to mark a moment in his journey, for good or for bad and you just couldn't help but get drawn into his world. This week we take a summary look at his incredible story and trip around the world in our Week 15 review - here's a teaser. @VendeeGlobeENG @xujingkun99hines
