We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Navegando en la Ría de Vigo con vientos del Sur de 35 nudos de intensidad. Nuestro Gran Nergha, un Jeanneau Sun Odissey 51.9, comienza a escorarse. Llevamos el segundo rizo en la mayor, pero no es suficiente para un día tan racheado. Pasamos de los 18 nudos a los 35 nudos en medio segundo. Eso hace que nuestro querido velero alcance tales escoras. Cuando empieza a comprometerse la escora con la seguridad, nuestro trimer de mayor arría escota y el barco adriza sin ningún problema. Pasa la racha, y volvemos a cazar la escota de mayor y así hasta la siguiente racha.
