The three entries in the CYCA’s Ponant Sydney Noumea Race headed out of Sydney Harbour under blue skies and a light variable breeze. Nautical artist, David Schor, is travelling in Europe creating commissioned art works and gathering imagery for new original paintings. He posted this clip from the San Remo Yacht Club in Northern Italy .... "On the day before the final race, the Yacht Club of San Remo held an informal event. As a jazz band played excellent music, an exquisite buffet was served. The sailors mixed, compared experiences and hopes for the final race. There was a mixture of languages: Italian, French, Dutch, German and others, but there was the unity of serious sailors." - David View David Schor's nautical paintings at www.thesailingchannel.tv/davidschor
