Sometimes when you raise the sails, the battens get hung up on the lazy jacks. Sometimes they free themselves, sometimes, and you can drop the sail and try again. But sometimes, they have to be wiggled free manually, which is what Brent just did. Once they are free and clear of the lazy jack lines, we raise the sail again and the wind is now carrying our floating home to another island! Want the full adventure? Spearfishing in the Bahamas can be very dangerous at times. Sharks here are VERY aggressive. Ready to swim straight at you and fight you for your fish. Showing them that you're not going to be intimidated soo easily is the best way I know how to never lose your fish.
