Race 5 kept the umpiring team of David Tallis and Richard Slater busy blowing whistles and pointing flags at the infringers. A dramatic top gate hook up between Hooligan’s protruding bowsprit and Ginger’s stern looked worse than it was with only some paint scraped off Ginger after the two crews separated the boats. As Hancock pointed out back at the dock, it’s the on-water umpiring that’s helped build the class’ strong camaraderie.

The Mag Bay 33 Centre Console is built to fish while keeping family interests close to heart - in a package that offers best-in-class quality, lightning-fast and smooth performance, and eye-catching styling and functionality. Walkways on either side of the console measure a generous 53cms wide making it easy to fight a fish down the rail - fish raising being this vessel's primary purpose! The package is complete with a stunning ex-factory half tower with Gemlux outriggers for the best possible view of the action. In terms of comfortable boating, especially with the family on board or for a long day chasing fish in less than ideal conditions, her Seakeeper SK3 DC powered Gyro is a game-changer. Additional comforts for family outings include an enclosed toilet, and the large bow area can be set up with a removable table for lunch with a view....
