? Sunday Boat Tip [7/52] ? Our gas oven only has heating from below, and when first moving onboard cooking in it was a real struggle! The food got badly burnt on the underside and was often undercooked on the topside, resulting in really bad cooking ??? But since we got this advice during our first winter as liveaboards our cooking game has improved so much! So, now it's time for us to pass the knowledge forward. After spending time ashore with family and friends it is time to get back to our life on the water! We are always a bit anxious when returning to Frolic as we never know if she will be as we left her. After seeing what happened in our absence we launch into a frenzy of cleaning, provisioning and repairing to get ready for a new winter season sailing in warm southern waters.
