A ilha dos Amores estava ao nosso redor, proporcionando um cenário deslumbrante e perfeito para a nossa aventura. No veleiro Marreco 16, desfrutamos de momentos incríveis enquanto observávamos as atividades do helicóptero e dos mergulhadores, que estavam se preparando para uma missão importante. O sol brilhava intensamente, refletindo na água cristalina da represa, criando um ambiente relaxante e alegre. Sailboat Repairs; U-Bolts Installed. As we near completion for our major sailboat repairs-our excitement mounts. These are the U-Bolts that we had specially machined, here in Anacortes to hold our mast. They extend through the chainplates to the interior of our Sceptre 41. We plan to be sailing in about two weeks towards B.C., where we will be spending 2-3 months doing our 'shakedown cruise', before heading south. Here is the timelapse video of a meticulous maneuver. You can see the engine and the generator being lifted by a crane to be placed in the aluminum hull of the Garcia Exploration 60.
