After renting out their house in New Zealand, Renee and Lynette pushed off aboard their steel sailboat Tekaihau to sail around the world. They have sailed over 30,000 nautical miles and visited 16 countries so far. Just another 8000 miles to go... The Greyhound is a typical Dykstra Naval Architects design, based on Gerry Dykstra's private Bestevaer. The aluminium hull will be build at KM Yachtbuilders over the next few months. It's being build for a Dutch family who has lots of sailing experience. In this video they are welding in the build number (098) themselves. A visible and lasting memory.
