The support structure below the decks must be installed correctly to achieve strength and follow the design curves. On January 1st, the Global Surveyor sailed from Funchal to Porto Santo, all sails up. A great way to spend the first day of 2024. The Madeira Island Fireworks were spectacular! We saw the possibly largest fireworks display in Europe right from the deck of Global Surveyor! Visiting Porto Santo with its golden beaches and turquoise waters and the Savage archipelago which is a recognised UNESCO site was simply a treat. @gowestsailing
