Eigentlich starten wir freitags ab 17 Uhr direkt mit dem Training. Aber gute Seemannschaft heißt auch: Bedingungen realistisch einschätzen. Wenn das Deck verschneit und spiegelglatt ist, wird’s unnötig gefährlich – also passen wir das Training an und nutzen die Zeit an Bord für alles, was drinnen sinnvoll ist (z. B. We were sailing through the Solomon islands, when we decided to stop for a surf and explore the area. We took the dinghy to a small island, and were horrified at what we found. Tens of human skulls just being displayed out in the open, and we had no idea why. We definitely felt an energy there unlike any other I have ever experienced....
