What a spectacular view is this. This owners was sailing his brandnew Saffier Sc 8m Cabin for the first time on the Westerschelde in the South of the The Netherlands and then saw this Whale jumping out of the water.

While looking for a cell phone signal in my tender outside of Squirrel Cove in Desolation Sound, this whale surfaced just off my stern. A nine foot boat feels rather small in comparison. I just sat and watched for quite some time until it was out of sight.
