The annual trip up Strangford Lough from White Rock to Portaferry and Strangford is always one of the highlights of the years racing. With the 2020 regatta cancelled due to the COVID=19 pandemic the teams are gearing up for a return to racing. It will be great to see how the rebuilt Strangford Sailing club looks on Friday Night as everyone gathers outside for the best BBQ of the summer. The team at Bottom Up Boats hopes to live stream the starts and provide some racing footage in the weeks to come, making up for the drought of on the water action over the last 18 months. The crew is ready to race and is looking forward to a strong turn out for the first big regatta on the lock for quite some time.

We start to do some of the first permanent installations of the floor, we get some of the cabinets for the cabins in to see how they are looking (spoiler alert its INCREDIBLE 🥹), we're plugging away at the wiring, and of course we can't resist a few fun cheeky projects like installing our light up speakers that will go quite nicely with our famous smoke machine parties 😂 Weeks like this at the yard are so satisfying because it's great to have so much visible progress and LOTS of wins in so many different areas...feels like we're getting closer and closer with each win! When a school of jacks come through a dive site they can be ruthless. Hunting every little fish in their path! On this scuba dive in Raja Ampat, the jacks were eating so many fish, the water was littered with fish scales!!
