We stumbled across an unusual find at the Miami Boat Show - a paddle-wheeler! The Paddle Qwest 16 is actually a pontoon boat paddle-wheeler. So it's doubly unique, since it can be powered by either pedaling or by electricity. And yes, that IS a solar panel you see on the stern. http://features.boats.com/boat-content/2014/07/2014-paddle-qwest-pontoon-boat-first-look-video/ Read the full review: http://features.boats.com/boat-content/2014/06/paddle-qwest-16-pedal-way-fun/ For more boating videos, visit http://www.boats.com. boats.com features boat reviews, how-to videos, special features, and information about new boats, boats for sale, and boating products—usually with a dash of fun. 3D printing small plastic hardware parts for small boats is getting easier and easier. Today we tested a 3d printed stopper ball using just PLA plastic and the results were surprising. We're confident this would outlast the useful life of the line. These small stopper balls are most often used for marking control lines like differentiating between a downhaul and and reef line for example. We're making these available in 4 colors on our website now. https://bandbyachtdesigns.com/stopperball
