Scuba diving into the depths of one of our favorite wreck dive sites we meet a truly giant fish, the elusive Goliath Grouper. Just six miles off of Key West, the 522 ft/159 m USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg offers one of the largest artificial reefs in the world. This WWII-era troop transport and missile-tracking ship sits in 165 ft/50 m and rises to 55 ft/17 m, the equivalent of 11 Stories tall offering an amazing playground for divers seeking unique wild life encounters. När Niklas skulle fylla på min vattenflaska kom det inte en droppe ur kranen. Varken tryckvattenpumpen eller watermakern fungerade, och mitt ute på havet är färskvatten inget man tar för givet. Efter lite felsökning insåg vi att vi fått in luft i systemet efter allt stampande i motvind i kryss. Som tur var lyckades vi lufta både tryckvattenpumpen och watermakern och nu har vi vatten igen. 🙌 Men problemen slutade inte där. Vi har också fått in saltvatten genom förpiksluckan efter att ett skot fastnade och skadade luckan under segling. Så nu är hela förpiken och våra sängar genomblöta. Livet till havs är inte alltid vykortsvackert, ibland handlar det mest om att lösa problem ett efter ett. 😅⛵ 💙 Skicka gärna ett hejjarop och ge oss lite seglarpepp i kommentarerna, vi behöver det just nu!
