Coming up on WE|Sail… The boat jobs begin on VA. While hauled out of the water, we have a king list of jobs to complete before getting wet again. Biggest job of them all is to grind and sand off the old bottom anti foul paint to the gel coat before we apply the new Copper Coat! The first orca (nicknamed Moby Doll) ever to be caught alive was captured off East Point on Saturna Island. East Point is one of the view places in the world where you can get close to orcas from the land. The resident whales swim past twice a day East Point is only a couple of minutes walk from our summer house on Saturna island, so we see them frequently
