No option was left unexplored in the effort to keep the boat as lightweight as possible, and she was built in West epoxy with carbon spars, 3DL sails and a carbon rudder.

On November 20th 2024, our team, with the help of HolbĂŠk Gamle Havns Beddinger brought Hawila back on the slipway. VIDEO CREDITS: Morten LĂžvschall The crew started early that day to put the last pieces of tarp into place, then Hawila's engine started rolling and we took her on her little tour through the fjord over to the Old Harbour of HolbĂŠk, where the slipway is located. There, we were greeted by the fantastic team of the association behind the local slipway, who went straight into action. It took 3 hours to put her back on land but everything worked out great.
