Manche Upgrades sieht man sofort. Andere hofft man, nie wirklich zu brauchen 🫣 Leute, für uns war klar: Wenn wir uns mit der Fjella immer weitere Strecken zutrauen zu segeln, mal bei Nacht unterwegs sind und uns auch die ein oder andere Nebelfront möglicherweise erwischt (so wie vor wenigen Wochen bei Johannes Einhand-Törn aus Dänemark zurück), möchten wir auch in Sachen Sicherheit technisch auf dem neuesten Stand sein. Umso besser und wohler fühlen wir uns, unsere Komfortzone Stück für Stück zu verlassen 👊 Deshalb bekommt unsere Maxi ein längst überfälliges Upgrade ✌️ In den nächsten Wochen nehmen wir euch mit: von der Beratung bei @Busse Yachtshop, über den Einbau eines neuen Funkgeräts und Transponders bis zum ersten Test auf der Ostsee. Insgesamt haben wir für euch drei Reels und eine ausführliche YouTube-Folge geschnitten. Vielleicht ist ja auch der ein oder andere Tipp für Euer eigenes Boot dabei, denn wir sind noch einen Schritt weitergegangen. Unser vergleichsweise kleines Boot ist jetzt technisch auf dem neuesten Stand. The X4 Yacht Alpaca looked a picture with its big blue spinnaker set beautifully as it glides by on the way back into Cork Harbour in the final race of Cork Week 2024. Cork Week 2024 created some great memories which remind us all why we enjoy this great sport which takes us to many great places to make our memories. The team at Bottom Up Boats hope you enjoy our continued look back on the racing acting from the 2024 session. Boat work is underway to get the boat ready for the 2025 season. Can't wait to get the boat in the water for another season of action on the water.
