The Beneteau Grand Trawler 62 is the largest yacht Beneteau has ever built, showcasing meticulous design and thoughtful engineering throughout. 🤩 One standout feature is its high-low hydraulic bathing platform, which has a lifting capacity of up to 400 kg, making it ideal for accommodating a jet rib. As the platform lowers, integrated stairs unfold to create a safe, comfortable path directly into the water, while maintaining a convenient walkway along the back of the yacht. This setup also doubles as a relaxing seating area, perfect for enjoying scenic views. 🧘♀️ Additionally, the Grand Trawler 62 is designed with a sleek glass transom, allowing you to face outward and take in your surroundings, rather than just facing inward towards the deck. This configuration combines practicality with an elegant, open experience, making it a functional yet stylish option for extensive cruising. First Light - Beneteau First 35 slipping into the main harbour at the half way mark of the Harbour Race of Cork Week 2024. With over 100 boats on the start line everyone was fighting for air shortly after the start, with the tide coming in all day it paid to get right early to find both clear air and some relief from the stronger tide out in the main channel. On the way back in the trick was to find the deepest part of the channel to ensure you were in maximum tide to increase your speed over ground. The team at Bottom Up Boats hope you like this short clip from our week of racing at Volvo Cork Week 2024
