To race around the world alone non-stop is pretty special and those that succeed enter an elite club. But when it comes to lapping the planet against the prevailing winds and currents, non-stop and alone the list stops way short of double figures. Last Christmas, solo sailor Guirec Soudée left France to set a new record and add his name to the gang, but his campaign took a very different approach. Join us for a quick look at one of the many great family attractions in our home county of Devon, UK. Located a short drive form the A38, House of Marbles is easily reached in around 30 minutes from Exeter, Torbay, and our home city of Plymouth. The restaurant, The Old Pottery, is brilliant and on a warm sunny day has plenty of al fresco seating available.
