Sydney Charter Show 2026 — done and dusted. Presented by @superyachtaustralia and hosted at @jonesbaysm @JonesBayWharfMarina , our first appearance at the show has been nothing short of exceptional. Over two brilliant days dockside, we showcased a curated selection of Italian-designed superyacht furniture, created for comfort, performance and refined onboard living. Pieces designed not only to elevate exterior spaces, but to endure the realities of life at sea. Most importantly, we made meaningful connections. From captains and crew to industry leaders and owners, the conversations were thoughtful, engaging and inspiring. It was a pleasure to share what considered Italian design can bring to life on the water. Thank you to everyone who visited the Gineico Marine stand and to our partners @yachtalia and @benettiyachts for their continued collaboration. Thoughtful design. Proven performance. Crafted for life on the water. https://zurl.co/5uN7S #SYA #SuperyachtAustralia #AustralianSuperyachtConference #SydneyCharterShow #SydneyCharter #JonesBaySuperyachtMarina #JonesBayWharfMarina #gineico_marine #quick #quickitaly #quickgyro #quickgyrostabiliser #Yachts #Superyacht #marineaccessories #experience #madeinitaly #virtualshowroom #production #nauticalequipment #accessories #italydesign #gyro #stabilizer #puRO #waterpurification

The priority for maintaining optimal VMG downwind in waves is to continue surfing. When required to gybe, whether due to your orientation to the course, tactics or wind change - maintaining speed on a wave is critical. Surfing keeps you moving down the course while completing the maneuver. The trick is to initiate surfing by doing a roundup. This allows you to bring extra sheet tension in while accelerating which allows you to gybe on a much deeper angle - hence maintaining connection on the wave. In this video, we've presented some basic steps to take to complete the surfing gybe. The concepts of proper body positioning, sheeting and steering can only be discovered through deliberate practice with coaching. You'd be surprised what you can accomplish with only one session at ISA. What is ISA Online? An online course where you can find the best Laser class resources available. Alexander Marine are pleased to present the 2011 Maritimo 56 Skylounge 'Ohana' to the market as central agents. 'Ohana' is certainly not your average Maritimo! The 56 model offers a sporty profile when compared to the "squarer" M52 & M60 siblings - indeed 'Ohana' looks fast even when she is tied up to the dock! She was highly customized for extended cruising by her passionate first owner, and her current and second owner have further refined the vessel by conducting numerous meaningful additional upgrades. 'Ohana' has spent her life cruising the beautiful reefs and coastline of Queensland. With this intention in mind, she was built complete with a Seakeeper gyro for maximum comfort underway - this is especially relevant at long-range displacement cruising speeds. With an LOA of 60 feet this is a fantastic owner-driver vessel for husband and wife adventurers who like to have a bit of room. 'Ohana' has the space for cruising in comfort, the style to live luxuriously on the water and the power to get you to some of the most spectacular places only accessible by boat, safely and efficiently. The Maritimo brand speaks for itself with a reputation for producing high quality offshore capable luxury motor yachts influenced by the Australian lifestyle - the perfect boat for coastal hopping and offshore cruising. Overall 'Ohana' is a capable, proven and well-maintained cruising vessel from a highly regarded manufacturer - its time to jump onboard and leave the rat race behind in search of reefs and sunsets. The timing of her sale is perfect - follow the sun this winter and head north for the Queensland cruising season festivities.
