We're super excited to be a part of the @seakeepers research project mapping the ocean floor. We met the International Seakeepers Society at the Auckland Boat Show 2024 and when we heard about their various projects we asked if we could apply to join their research program of mapping the seafloor (which we did) and within a few days they sent us the logger and some other cool stuff free of charge. Flying My Dog for the First Time 🐾 | Preparing for Airplane Camping Adventures In this video, I take my dog flying in my airplane for the very first time to prepare him for airplane camping this summer. As a pilot and professional skydiver, I want to make sure my dog is completely comfortable with every part of the flying experience before we head out on longer aviation adventures together. We go step-by-step through the process of introducing him to general aviation: Sitting in the cockpit with the engine off Starting the engine and getting used to the noise Taxiing around the airport And finally, a short flight around the pattern He crushed the ground portion like a pro, but once we took off, he definitely got more nervous in the air. I kept the flight short and smooth so we could build up his confidence gradually.
