In the end, the general success of this transatlantic -supervised rally and the ever more pressing demand from owners of catamarans and trimarans led the World Cruising Club to organize a second rally – the ARC + –, then a third – the ARC January. We have a really old Laser (ILCA) that was gifted to us. Been outdoors for 20 plus years so its hull was not great, but Ronstan Gelcoat Restorer is doing a number on it.
