We went to take our sailboat out the Ft Pierce Inlet for our second time for a shakedown sail. We had sail issues so we had to come back into the inlet with an outgoing tide and incoming east wind. We did not know that combination made the inlet rough as we are new to inlet currents and tides. Made for a fun surfing ride back into the inlet.
