She features exterior design by renowned Dutch designer, René van der Velden, with naval architecture executed in cooperation between René van der Velden and Diana Yacht Design. London based Studio Indigo is responsible for her interior design. A rainy day in the Wrangell, Alaska shipyard with our 80’ steel schooner Alaskan Gypsy. After rescuing her from sinking in Ketchikan, I’m inside tackling the next challenge — demolishing the bathroom (head) to reach a badly corroded section of hull plating.
