When purchasing a catamaran there are a lot things to worry about, so the more you know going into the purchase process, the less stress you’ll face. Having a basic understanding of the contract is the first step in the process. The entire IYBA Purchase and Sale Agreement can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for a first time catamaran buyer. If you’re not certain of the terms in an agreement, we highly recommend consulting an attorney. In our opinion, the most important thing to understand are the different dates in the agreement. In this video we’ll briefly talk about these four different set of dates, and what they mean. For a copy of the IYBA agreement we use please shoot us an email.
