A few year back we had a great trip from East Down Yacht Club to Peel harbour, our Mumm 36 eat up the waves surfing all the way over. We did the trip in under 4 hours which was a record crossing for team GTR. The crew worked hard to keep the boat on an even keel trimming the sails all the way as we enjoyed the sled rid in the surf. The sea in the Irish Sea was perfectly matched to the sea state allowing us to wiggle up and down the waves with ease. The trip back home was a little harder, pounding head on into the waves was not nearly as fun as the surfing them on the way over. Hopefully you are enjoying the short the team at bottom up boats is pulling pulling together and it is giving you a taste of the content you can find on the full channel.

A behind-the-scenes update from us at SailingBritican! We had to pivot our lifestyle when our daughter decided that land life was calling her name. Kim & Sienna are in North Carolina enjoying air con/heat, Amazon deliveries, fast food, and family.
