Calm water. Secluded beach. Back side of Norman’s Pond in the Exumas. We’ve always been told: Don’t swim early morning. Don’t swim at dusk. Now we know why. As the sun dropped and the tide shifted, a massive shark started circling just offshore. Not passing through. Not curious. Stalking. Low light is feeding time. And we were standing in its territory.
