Sailboats differ from other types of boats in that they are propelled partly or entirely by wind; they use sails to transform the power of the wind into power that moves the boat through the water. The term sailboat covers a wide variety of sailing craft, each with its own characteristics and styles. In general, sailboats are distinguished by size, hull configuration, keel type, number of sails, use and purpose. At Rustler Yachts we've been working with engine manufacturer Yanmar to produce a robust and efficient charging system for our yachts. This option gives you more power for less charging and means auxiliary charging systems like wind, solar, hydro or diesel generators are needed less. Let Simon, our Head of Engineering talk you through the system we use on our Rustler 42. Beautiful boats, built beautifully Visit http://rustleryachts.com to find out more #Rustleryachts #oceancruising #sailing #sailboat #yacht #sailing #offshorecruiser #boatbuilders #boat #handcrafted #bespokeyacht #semicustomyacht #handbuilt #cornwall #charging #YanmarEngine

The Anchor Hitch is a super knot which tightens on itself when load is applied. It is really simple to tie, all you need is two round turns. One over the top of the item you are securing your rope to and the second one on top of the first. The Anchor hitch will tighten on it self making it hard to undo after load has been applied, making it a great option for permanently securing your rope to an object. Adding the bight when you finish the anchor hitch makes it a lot easier to undo. The additional width of rope used to finish it with the bight is easy pulled out via the tail of the rope. If you are looking for a more details video to learn this not why not check out our long form version showing you how to tie an Anchor Hitch on a Bight. https://youtu.be/XO3rcZkDNWs If you are looking to learn additional options to secure your rope to a fixed object why not check out our fender knot play list which has a variety of options for you to consider.
