My answer is YES and here are my three top tips for taking a baby on board a sailing holiday. #1 Paddling pool. Paddling pools are so useful. You can put them in the cockpit while you're underway. Baby is safe, entertained and happy. It's amazing. #2 Wear baby. So I actually wear my daughter in a wrap and when we're underway it's an amazing way for her (a) to feel safe, for me for her to feel safe. And also for her to feel comfortable go to sleep and my hands are free. #3 is a chair that actually clips on to the table. You can take it with you downstairs, upstairs, have it at the restaurants it's portable and incredible and amazing to take baby with you wherever you go. Today I sailed home my new to me 1972 Bristol Carvel 22. I purchased for a great deal on eBay, if I told you how much you wouldn’t believe me so don’t even ask . Let’s just stay. It was an awesome deal. So I purchased her without ever looking at the cabin. I saw her from the shoreline, and I fell in love with this vintage sailboat. Now it’s time to start the motor for the very first time and head down the channel in East Greenwich Bay. Then it’s off to Narraganset Bay towards her new slip.
