CHASE THE WIND. AND ENJOY THE CALM. There’s a moment when the sails are perfectly set, the bow crosses the waves, and all you hear is the wind. And then, there’s silence - the kind that rises when everything falls perfectly into place. On board a Southern Wind, power and peace don’t compete. They complete each other. It’s the perfect balance. And it’s all yours.

The rainy season in Indonesia was supposed to be over… but early May brought one more massive storm. Within minutes, rivers of water were flowing through the marina. Parts of the dock were damaged and the land alongside it started washing away into the sea. Life before a 3600 nm Indian Ocean crossing is never boring. #Indonesia #RainySeason #SoloSailing #MarinaLife #IndianOcean
