We are off this weekend because we need to wrap up our season and get our Morgan 382 out of the water and put to bed...the season is officially over up here. Naturally it hasn't rained in days (we're in a severe drought) but it's supposed to rain the day we haul... It's not always champagne, caviar, and Dinty Moore or here. Who's the fastest windsurfer ever? ▫️ We ran a reel recently on the 500m World Sailing Speed Record currently held by Paul Larsen on Sailrocket 2. There are quite a few windsurfers on the list. ▫️ We got quite a few comments asking "where is Bjorn Dunkerbeck?" While he doesn´t hold any 500m sailing records, he has held 3 outright records over a nautical mile and also hit 55.97 knots over a 2 second time gap in 2021. ▫️ So here he is.
