From our Komodo to East of Flores Cruise in September/October 2014. Castle Rock in the North of the Komodo National Park performed perfectly. Just at the start of a slack between tides, we went down and were met by large schools of fusiliers encircling us at about 10 m depth. Who's the fastest windsurfer ever? ▫️ We ran a reel recently on the 500m World Sailing Speed Record currently held by Paul Larsen on Sailrocket 2. There are quite a few windsurfers on the list. ▫️ We got quite a few comments asking "where is Bjorn Dunkerbeck?" While he doesn´t hold any 500m sailing records, he has held 3 outright records over a nautical mile and also hit 55.97 knots over a 2 second time gap in 2021. ▫️ So here he is.
