The Ray Hunt design combined with the excellent Grand Banks build quality led to a timeless look and feel that makes these yachts very sought after. SEAWORTHY is owned by an experienced couple that are world class yachtsmen and sailors, having owned previously a Fleming motoryacht and several race yachts, plus being a Past Commodore of the Annapolis Yacht Club and Past President of BOAT US. You will find this Eastbay 38 to be in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition as well as being regularly upgraded. SEAWORTHY's past owners have maintained her in impeccable shape as well, including the first owner that had her commissioned on the Great Lakes, where she was kept in fresh water and used seasonally. Powered by twin Volvo Penta TAMD 63 diesel engines with 830 original hours this is an excellent power package for the Eastbay 38. Join us as we explore some of the most iconic areas of Indonesia's Bird's Head Seascape-Cenderwasih Bay and Raja Ampat. Cenderwasih Bay is well known as one of the best spots in the world to find quite large congregations of whale sharks, not to mention beautiful reefs and lots of fish. Raja Ampat on the other hand is home to some of the world's most bio-diverse reefs which top the global "Species Count" charts for corals and marine life. This is a two-stop safari rolled into one, and as such, we've aimed at making it a "best of both worlds" safari, so we've charted an amazing luxury wooden Liveaboard built in the traditional Indonesian 'phinisi' style for the Cenderwasih portion, and will later transition to an outstanding resort built right over the water in Raja Ampat.
