Working or playing? When you love what you do and do what you love there's often no clear line between the two. To design and build outstanding boats, understanding every aspect of the interplay between hulls, wind & water is crucial, as is first hand experience of all the systems and components that bring it to life and the potential effects of minor changes on any of these. Up close and wet on a mighty machine is one excellent way to do that and is exactly what our youngest team members have been doing this season. Design and build have teamed up in the persons of Luca and Pete, and they've been joined by others in their age groups from the yard and local sailing scene, as well as friends from Highwater Sails. D-1 is a well proven weapon and was the training ground for Daz himself who raced across the Atlantic (and won!) in a boat just like this, Clarke's Active Air, the 3rd Dazcat. They say passion diminishes over time but here it just seems to gather momentum. We'll be bringing you much more on D-1's season soon. In the meantime enjoy this short, and you decide whether they're working, playing or simply trying to survive!!

Un viaggio itinerante in barca a vela tra Capraia e la Corsica. Un'emozionante navigazione alla ricerca dei delfini e di splendide baie dove rigenerarsi. Ci divertiremo tuffandoci e nuotando in acque cristalline; cucineremo a bordo, crogiolandoci al sole e godendoci poi tramonti mozzafiato sul mare, gustando un aperitivo sdraiati sul ponte della barca.  Alla sera prevediamo di alternare l’ormeggio in porto per cena e per vivere la frizzante atmosfera estiva dei borghi marinari, oppure provare l’emozione di trascorrere la notte in rada, tirando tardi in compagnia sotto il cielo stellato.
