There is quite a bit to learn when you start out sailing. What are the things you really need to know versus those things that you can reference in a book when needed?! One thing you’ll want to memorize is cardinals. All over the world you’ll find these! A cardinal mark is a sea mark (a buoy or other floating or fixed structure) used in maritime pilotage to indicate the position of a hazard and the direction of safe water. #sailing #sailingexperience #sailinglife #sailinglifestyle
