The BGM75, from BlueGame, is a new luxury motor yacht from the Italian manufacturer. M stands for multihull, but this is a catamaran with a difference: the ratio between beam and length is closer to a monohull. ▫️ ➡️ Renders from Blue Game Yachts ▫️ She is first and foremost a luxurious, motor yacht that has two hulls, not one, but from some angles you wouldn't realise. This has allowed the designers to configure the area between the two hulls as a single space like a monohull allowing for a huge full beam owner’s cabin. ▫️ From the stern, she looks like an elegant and balanced monohull and the space between the two hulls conceals a garage for the tender. The reduced beam allows the BGM75 to be moored up between monohulls. ▫️ They estimate between a 23 and 38% fuel saving compared to a 90ft displacement power monohull with comparable living space. ▫️ BlueGame will be exhibiting at the Cannes Yachting Festival. ▫?? Gaetano è nato il 7 luglio 1968 a Cala Gonone sulla costa orientale della Sardegna dove ha sempre vissuto; qui il rapporto con la natura è la vita stessa, e al mare Gaetano ha consacrato la sua esistenza, nell'appassionato incontro tra lavoro, sogno e avventura.Dove è nato Gaetano non esistono circoli velici e manca una tradizione di vela. La sua carriera in mare incomincia presto quando si imbarca come mozzo sui pescherecci, poi come comandante sul trasporto passeggeri di piccolo cabotaggio. A vent'anni acquista il Dovesesto un fatiscente veliero d'epoca di 23 metri col quale, una volta restaurato, si guadagnerà da vivere (un'innovativa esperienza imprenditoriale) facendo charter e sarà la scuola della sua vita. Autodidatta per forza di cose ha imparato la vela da solo, trasformando la sua passione in impegno concreto attraverso studio e determinazione imparando a comprendere il vento onnipresente nella sua isola. Poi le regate lungo l' Oceano, una conquista dopo l'altra. La sua vocazione è la navigazione in solitario, quella che gli è più congeniale per la quale sente di avere una predisposizione fisica e mentale. La sua ultima impresa è la partecipazione alla Transat 2009. Nel 2011 ha progettato "gironelmondo" e dal 2012 inizia l'attività con BET 1128 Saling Team. Partecipando alla Palermo Montecarlo dove vince nella sua classe, poi la Middle Sea Race dove conquista il secondo posto. Nel 2013 trasloco in oceano per la partecipazione a Les Sables-Horta- Les Sables e alla Transat Jacques Vabre
