Ty is a skier. He grew up park skiing in Ontario. He chased the snow out West, determined to bag 900’s, cork 7’s and 60ft cliffs. He has been working in the ski industry since high school. Now he works as a waste water technician at our local resort. Have you locals noticed how delicious the drinking water is up there? Guys like him stay out of sight, and ski a lot. For Ty it’s about creating moments in the mountains that weave together into a life’s story. We are so glad that many of our stories intertwine with his. Long live the ski bum! ► Sunreef Yachts ► A Third Shipyard Near Dubai The specialist in large custom luxury catamarans already operates out of two sites in Gdańsk, Poland, but has also just opened third yard in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. For the builder, demand in the Middle East region is indeed significant, justifying an investment of nearly 30 million euros with the aim of expanding its industrial capacity by building a new state-of-the-art facility. Sunreef Yachts acquired a 16-acre (65,000 m²) site on which the construction of a first 110,000 square foot (10,000 m²) building was completed. The new yard began production in September 2023, initially employing around 50 staff.
