Escape hatches have sunk boats before! We should have done this ages ago. If one fails we can put these covers in place and we won't have anything to worry about. We snapped some great footage and use it to show new sailors how to spot a gust coming at you on the water via a discoloration in the water color. Usually it is a darker color that is moving across the water. But don't mistake that for a shadow from a cloud.
