Marina – a Huckins 60′ Linwood combines timeless Down East styling with modern performance and luxury. Maintained to high standards, she shows today like a new Huckins. The Linwood is a remarkably agile yacht; it tracks dead-on, banks effortlessly into turns and — with its lightweight, high-performance hull — drafts shallow enough to go virtually anywhere. Best in class custom build quality, Huckins Quadraconic Hull and her highly maneuverable HamiltonJets are a few highlights that help to propel MARINA to the best buy in the category. She is powered by Cummins QSM11 twin diesels, one of the most advance marine propulsion systems available. The Generator, Kohler 20KW located in a fully sound insulated engine room. The layout features 2 comfortable staterooms, his and her bath with adjoining tub/shower, guest stateroom with adjoining head, nicely appointed salon, open galley with custom appliances and a spacious bridge deck perfect for entertaining. African Cherry joiner work throughout and cockpit lounge seating with Bimini top for shade.

We left to visit family and came back to wet bilges…we know Kotor Bay in Montenegro had severe rainstorms while we were gone. In preparation of being away from the boat we removed our Bimini and dodger which opened up the companionway for direct wind driven rain to penetrate. This is the result. We need to investigate our auto bilge pump as it appears to be locked up. In the meantime Shelly sopped up the water and Cass worked through a solution for the louvered doors. We have a temporary solution which I will post in part 2. #sailinglife #rainstorms #bilgewater #travelblogger #vlog #boatlife #sailingeriskay
