We are finally here! We have moved onto our sailboat CUBA and we are slowly getting her ready to sail as far as the winds allow us. Just the two of us: Enrique aka Kiki from Cuba and Sarah aka Salsa from Germany and our furry crew. We are setting out adventurizing, shananiganing and learning as we sail through the Mediterranean to – hopefully – cross the Atlantic next year and then circumnavigate the world. With an open mind, a fresh set of eyes and good vibes in tow we are steadily on the move. Giorno 274?! Wow… Ricordo ancora quando nei video scrivevamo “Giorno 14”. Eravamo in Croazia, c’era Mia 🐱 a bordo, eravamo così piccoli… Chi considera la crescita nei termini dell’età mi ha sempre fatto storcere il naso. Già da bambina, quando qualcuno pretendeva qualcosa avvalendosi unicamente della sua età come parametro di importanza si trovava davanti un soldo di cacio con il naso alto e gli occhi ben saldi nei suoi che cercava di capire i perché del mondo… Più di 20 anni dopo quello sguardo rimane, i modi si sono smussati e sono diventati compatibili con la vita in società, ma il desiderio di carpire le sfumature delle persone rimane. Questo sabato è pigro, nuvoloso e piacevole. Il mare danza con noi ormai da 274 giorni e le volte in cui lo osserviamo prendersi una pausa tra i pontili e i parabordi mi torna in mente una citazione piuttosto conosciuta.
