A sailboat takes on waves bigger than its own mast. It pushes forward… cuts into a massive wall of water… Then the wave crashes down with explosive force, covering the entire boat. Raw cinematic moment of survival against nature. 👉 Subscribe & share for more intense ocean footage #Shorts #StormAtSea #Sailboat #OceanStorm #ExtremeWeather #BoatLife #SeaChaos #ViralShorts

A quick glimpse of our winter recon mission in Newfoundland—hauling gear, testing our DIY pulk setup, and scouting coastal mountain terrain for bigger trips ahead. Full episode is live now on the channel - https://rebrand.ly/sr8xrq4 #shorts #WinterAdventure #BackcountrySkiing #Newfoundland #SkiTouring #WinterCamping #AdventureVlog #OutdoorLife #ArabellaSailboat #liveaboardlife -------------------------- Sign up for our email newsletter: http://eepurl.com/hn3Qyv Acorn to Arabella started as a wooden boat building project in Granby, Massachusetts. Steve began the journey as an amateur wooden boat builder crafting a 38' wooden sailboat in his backyard: designer William Atkin's Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel's gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and now sailing the boat—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that traditional wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project continues beyond the boat shop, as Steve and crew travel and learn to cruise aboard the handmade wooden boat that they've built. Just kidding about all that, this channel is about a Siberian Laika named Akiva. -------------------------- If you are interested in supporting/helping here are a few ways: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/how-to-help Acorn to Arabella's wishlist: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/wishlistpriority TotalBoat supports A2A! I love this feature for two reasons; first, it is a great example of how responsive Vision is to customer feedback that can make the boat better, and second, because I had at least a little input in its creation! In a nutshell, they help prevent the running rigging from getting snagged on the rigid solar panel corners. Flexible panels wouldn't have this problem to begin with, but they are nowhere near as efficient, they get hot and they don't last as long. We were very happy to be getting rigid solar panels, but were less than thrilled about having to be super vigilant to prevent a damaged sheet or panel. I believe these clips will fully remove this concern; thanks Grant (Vision Engineer)! Want more?
