In order to get our sailboat home ready to explore the Caribbean Sea it was time to reinstall the genoa sail! Nicknamed "the dummy sail" on our boat, it's the easiest of our sails to use, able to be operated by one person back in the helm of our Leopard 45 catamaran, and used in a wide range of wind conditions. Cuando hago un agujero en el mástil del velero estando colgado de una driza corro el peligro de enganchar la driza con la broca del taladro. Si me engancho con una driza auxiliar sigo en peligro, ya que, aunque difilmente, puedo enganchar ambas. Para ello pongo un cordino con un nudo prusik a cualquier elemento seguro que esté cerca. En este caso ha sido un obenque.
