**We flew to the middle of nowhere and camped under my airplane.**🔥 With just a wing tent, a campfire, and some steaks, my friends and I set up for the ultimate backcountry camping trip. We fished, cooked over an open flame, and woke up to a thick, unexpected fog that made it seem like we might not make it out. ➤ Gear used: Tent under the wing, campfire grill, fishing rods, and a Cessna (or your actual aircraft model). ➤ Pilots: Austin Lankford + friends ➤ Location: Remote backcountry airstrip (or drop location if you want to include it) If you’ve ever dreamed of airplane camping, flying off the grid, or just unplugging for a night with friends, this video is for you. 👍 Like, comment, and subscribe for more skydiving, flying, and real-life aviation adventures! 📸 Follow me on Instagram: [your handle] ✈️ More aviation content here: [your channel link or playlist] #AirplaneCamping #BushFlying #BackcountryFlying #PilotVlog #AviationAdventure #FlyingCamping #FoggedIn #CampingUnderTheWing #BestDaySinceYesterday
The brand new Korvet50XLR named Callisto departed from Rotterdam on July 3 for the first leg of her trip to Nassau. Today she will arrive in Brighton from where the journey continues to the Azores. After a refueling stop in Horta the non-stop Atlantic crossing to Bermuda begins. With an average speed of 9 knots the crossing will take under 10 days, depending on sea and weather conditions. Another 4 days of travel takes her from Bermuda to Nassau, her new homeport.
I don't often post other designers boats, but I make an exception here. Russell kindly asked me out for a short sail just before the start of the Race to Alaska (R2ak). It was ideal conditions for his boat and Russell sailed it perfectly. No real surprise considering the miles he has done on the boat. Certainly the best proa in the world (I have sailed a couple of others by world famous designers that were no match for Jzerro). Speed was steady in the mid teens.
