One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. The yacht, which is 110 m/361 ft long, is rumored to have been purchased from the Qatar royal family. Delivered in 2017, designed by @lobanov__design and built by Oceanco Yachts.
