Watch our latest video to see what we did to prepare our floating home for Cyclone Gabrielle. We live in New Zealand and Cyclone Gabrielle formed just south of the Solomon Islands and tracked down the East Coast of New Zealand in February 2023. Whilst we were very fortunate to make it through this experience unharmed, Cyclone Gabrielle caused widespread devastation in our home town of Hawke's Bay and along the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. To keep the heat out of our boat during the day, we use our GoSun to warm up some Nasi Goreng and cook the eggs for the first time in it. It was delicious!
