Foi dada a largada para a 48ÂĒ ediçÃŖo da Semana Internacional de Vela de Ilhabela, que acontece entre os dias 24 e 31 de julho de 2021, no Yacht Club de Ilhabela (YCI), no litoral norte paulista. Neste sÃĄbado (24), aconteceu virtualmente a ReuniÃŖo de Comandantes, onde os representantes dos veleiros inscritos no evento fazem suas consideraçÃĩes sobre as expectativas para o evento, que terÃĄ suas primeiras regatas neste domingo (25). O grande encontro da modalidade conta com 80 barcos das principais classes de vela oceÃĸnica, como ORC, RGS, Mini Transat, Multicasco, Bico de Proa, ClÃĄssicos, C30 e HPE25. E, pela primeira vez, reÃēne regatas presenciais e virtuais, com as provas online feitas pelo aplicativo Virtual Regatta Inshore.
