Deploy the life ring. Use the deep beach reach method with engines on for maneuverability. Through out the maneuver, keep the vessel as close as possible to the victim. Tack the boat, turn downwind and sail back down and slightly past the victim so that you will approach from a downwind position. Position the victim on the windward side of the boat. If you're learning to sail, you should know this information before venturing out. When turning on engines, always check for lines in the water that can entangle the prop. Added the Feniex T3 LED as an auxiliary turn signal. The Westin HDX brush guard covers the factory blinker, so I wanted to add some auxiliary light. The T3 has a "brake/tail" feature which provides a low power steady burn capability to avoid blinding other motorists.
