🇬🇧 In harsh sea conditions and freezing cold, Fabrice Amedeo felt it was important to make his bunk even more comfortable and warmer. The skipper of Nexans - Wewise searched for the survival blanket in the first-aid kit to add a thermal layer and combat the cold. ------------------------ ➡️ SUIVEZ-NOUS ! // FOLLOW US ! 🔗 Website : www.vendeeglobe.org 📸 Instagram : / vendeeglobe 🐦 X FR : / vendeeglobe | X ENG : https://x.com/VendeeGlobeENG 🕺 TikTok : / vendee_globe 💻 Facebook : / vendeeglobe 💼 LinkedIn : / vendée-globe

#shorts Off grid living requires attention to detail. If a towing line breaks it could mean losing a very valuable piece of equipment for those living aboard a boat. Knowing a few basic knots turned a potential headache into a minor fix. Also, setting up a redundant system saved me from having to buy a new dinghy! My advice is ALWAYS have backup lines if you tow your dinghy. Also, I should have put in abrasion guards of some sort but I didn’t! Off grid living requires planning ahead. This was a clear example of just how important that is.

The new episode is not ready yet. Couldn't push myself to finish it after the tragic death of our faithful companion, only 3 years and 3 months all. We already shared a lot of adventures but now she swims with the fishies….
